The town lies at 238 meters above sea level, on the Pancrazio hill, where the Norman-Swabian Castle rises. Walking through the old town we find nineteenth-century buildings and shops. The main path is here split by the Dome square, circular-shaped, with steps. In Piazza XV Marzo we find the statue of Bernardino Telesio, the philosopher, looking at the municipal theatre Alfonso Rendano and the Government Palace. Our little promenade can be considered completed with a visit to the Villa Vecchia.
