Lido is the coastal district of Catanzaro. It is located a few miles South of the city and It stretches for 5 km along the Ionian coast, in the Gulf of Squillace. It is historically known as Marina di Catanzaro. Nmerous bathing establishments, hotels and clubs are located along 2 km of promenade.
