Cosenza is the main city of the northern Calabria. The city has about 70 thousand inhabitants and is divided between the Old Town, the site were the primitive settlement rises, and the modern city, developed along the left bank of the Crati river, where the Calatrava Bridge is. The historical center is characterised by a concentration of manor houses, narrow streets that wind around churches, convents, fortresses, open spaces and squares. Every place is under the sight of the Castello Normanno-Svevo, located on the Pancrazio Hill.
