How to reach

The city-centre of Mendicino has three churches inside it: the Sanctuary of S. Maria dell’Accoglienza (1919), which stands on the same site where, in the past, there was a female Florense monastery; the Church of S. Nicola, whose date of construction is uncertain and whose facade has a carved stone portal and two stained glass windows depicting St. Nicholas and the Immaculate; the Church of S. Sebastiano, dating back to the XV – XVI century and head, in the past, of an important religious brotherhood.
