The architectural complex of medieval origin, among the most valuable of Calabria, is located 650 meters above sea level in the Pollino National Park. Excavated from the rock, it is the imposing monastery of Madonna delle Armi, testimony to the importance that the Eastern monasticism was the Calabrian culture. Its interior contains some remarkable works of art and silver baroque. Near the sanctuary, there are the ruins of the monastery of St. Andrew, from the Byzantine period.
