Serra Pedace is a mountain village located at 726 meters above sea level, on the ridge of the Cardone stream. The town is surrounded by chestnut trees and it has a cozy atmosphere. Silvana Mansio, which is one of the most evocative places of Sila, belongs to this area. The origins the village of Serra Pedace are unknown, as with most of the farmhouses of Cosenza.
