Villaggio Mancuso is a mountain tourist resort town of the so called Sila Piccola (“Small Sila”). It was built in the early decades of the twentieth century as a mountain resort for the citizens from Catanzaro. It is located in one of the most prized and thick areas of Sila plateau. It has developed between the 50s and 60s when the typical wooden houses with black and white stripes were built. These buildings remind the typical Swiss huts.
