The Vaglio Lise railway station started the operations on May 31, 1987, replacing the old station in the city center. This fact happened in concomitance with the opening of the new Paola railway. The station building clearly differs from the usual shapes and consists of massive reinforced concrete shelters supported by arched pillars on all the tracks. For passengers there are 5 platforms, while 3 others are used for the freight service.
